use a travel agent, agents like myself can help you find the best deals and often offer onboard credit as a thank you for utilizing our services. To get a free quote, fill out this form.
pay for your trip with a travel rewards credit card. My favorite card is the Chase Sapphire (affiliate link), which gives 2x the $ value in points to use however you wish, redeem as a statement credit or cash in the points for a free flight. Plus travel insurance when you use the card to book your travels.
pay for your trip with Disney gift cards, purchased at a discounted rate from Sam's club, Costco, or Target. For example, Target offers 5% back, so you'll pay $450 for a $500 gift card.
book as early as possible. When an itinerary is announced (typically 18 months in advanced), it's released at the lowest cost. The closer you get to a sail date, the more money you can expect to pay.
Wait until ~120 days before the sail date, and see if Disney releases GT cabins for the sailing of your choice. These are guaranteed staterooms, meaning Disney will pick your stateroom for you. If you're willing to gamble a bit with boat location, the 25+% discount is worth it.
Bonus: If you're a Florida resident or member of the military, Disney offers additional discounts.
